Description
This book is about a boy named Ricky who is deathly afraid of dogs as a result of being attacked by a ferocious dog when he was only a baby, who comes across a lost and hungry puppy one day on the farm. Ricky is resentful to take the dog in, but then becomes best friends with the dog and names it Kitty. The ending of this story is very sad, because Kitty dies from fighting off a wild pack of dogs with Ricky and doesn't overcome his wounds. This book is an awesome read for all ages!
